The high-speed railway has become an important passenger transport mode. Relying on the abundant experience and expansive network, freight train (HSFT) is feasible to be developed great application potential. As a critical component of HSFT, cargo plays role in overturning safety HSFT under strong wind conditions. Previous studies about aerodynamic performance usually regarded loaded carbody as individual rigid body. Limited attention was paid variability inside vehicle. In order improve running conditions, multibody dynamics simulation adopted demonstrate effect property risk loads obtained through computational fluid (CFD) simulations. It demonstrated that inner side crosswind more dangerous than outer crosswind. speed should limited according quantity, maximum for fully can 305 km/h when velocity 20 m/s. larger density encouraged because it good severe working
